We LOVE the FAIR! There...I said it again. :)
We really do have so much fun at the fair. I'm not sure why exactly...but we just do. We love being outdoors and people watching and eating fried food and going to look at new things and seeing the excitement on our kids' faces... It's just fun.
We went next to the last day on a Saturday. Sadly, we missed seeing Big Tex by one day...since he burned to the ground on Friday. We know he will be back next year in full force, but it was weird not getting to see him in all of his "big-ness". Ya know?
We arrived at the fair after soccer games around noon. We ate right away, went to the petting zoo, met up with my parents, rode the ferris wheel, saw the bird show, and shopped just a little. It was a great day!
