Austin had his first day of "preschool" today in the big 3-year-old class. :) We wanted him to feel just as special as Jasmine on her first day, so he had a special breakfast of sausage & egg burritos...one of his favorites! He got to pick out a special dessert for his lunch this week at the store yesterday and he chose chocolate chip cookies...Mommy's glad that there are some of those in our house right now! :)
The morning was a little rocky...some disciplining over breakfast with sister...and some major construction in a key intersection that was perfectly fine yesterday. Both made for a little frustration, but all in all we were only a couple of minutes late. (and I sat there for 12-15 minutes...so not too bad.)
Picked him up today and he said, "It was Great." His friends Brody & Brady are in his class again this year and he seemed very happy about that. He was napping when I picked him up...so bonus for me! AND...he was quite pumped that he got to play in the JUNGLE this year...you have to be 3 in order to play there. :) Hope it's a great year!
