Happy Halloween!

Halloween was lots of fun. This year was very fun for us because both kids were really into it! Jasmine had decided that she wanted to be Tinkerbell a LONG time ago...and she never changed her mind on that. Thankfully...Anique had given her this costume 2 years ago and it was perfect for this year!


Austin had seen a horse costume at Target one day while we were out. Everytime someone asked him what he was going to be...he said "horsey!" So...we decided that he could be a Knight on a horse! Thanks to Cara - we already had the Knight costume from his birthday! (see how that works? ha!) So it was fun and easy!


I had to sew some straps on Jasmine's wings and take up the straps on her dress, but other than that...it was all very easy!

We headed to Trunk Fest at church to watch Jasmine's group sing 2 songs. They sang "Praise Him" and "Trust in the Lord". We had a great turn out and lots of cute costumes. I really enjoy leading music for this age. They are learning so much all the time and do a great job!

After Trunk Fest...we went to Nana & PaDaddy's. The kids had never done REAL trick-or-treating before...so we headed up and down the neighborhood at my parents' house. Nana joined us while PaDaddy handed out candy (he LOVES Halloween!) They thought trick-or-treating was so cool!

9:00 am the next morning...little man was still wiped out from his awesome trick-or-treating experience! Jason & I just laughed when we saw this. He never even moved with us in there and the flash of the camera! That's when you know Halloween was a success!!
