Park Day

Last Monday after gymnastics, 5 moms and 8 kids went to the park to picnic and play! It was a beautiful day and the kids had a wonderful time. We had picnic blankets & sack lunches & drive thru too! We all ate lunch, let the kids play, and then took a snack break for yummy icy pops that Allison brought! :) The kids ran back out to the playground for 5 more minutes of play. It all ended very abruptly when sweet little Avery fell off the monkey bars.

It happened so fast! She was rushed to urgent care and then on to Cooks. She had broken her wrist, forearm, and elbow!! Sweet baby girl! She came out of surgery that night and has a wonderful pink cast on her arm.

We prayed for Avery every meal and each night last week. My kiddos were so worried about her. The first thing even Austin said to Daddy that night was "Avery fell (mumble) monkey bars (mumble) ouchie (mumble) her arm. Bandaid."

We love our sweet Avery and are still praying for her and her 8 month preggo mamma!! Get well soon!!
