Birthday Fun!

Last weekend, Austin had a birthday party to celebrate his FIRST BIRTHDAY with family and close friends! Nana, PaDaddy, Mimi, & PaPa all made it to see Mr. Austin! (whew! Good thing no lions, zebras, or elephants got in the way! My folks got in from Tanzania late the night before.) We were also blessed with many of our closest friends!! I am so truly blessed to have family & friends in my life who love on my children, care for them, play with them, and make them feel truly special! You all are so dear to me!

Well, since we fondly refer to Austin as "the monkey beast"...what better way to celebrate than with a monkey-themed birthday party!!

Our little boy was still feeling a bit under the weather, so the pictures of him are not that great, but he was a real trooper! He got lots of fun presents...the kids are in heaven right now with all of the new toys! :) Yea!!!

He also got to have free reign on his own piece of birthday cake. He started slowly, but eventually, he figured out that this stuff was pretty fun!

And finally, he played with his FAVORITE SISTER JASMINE and his little friends Ian, Cadence, Jaxson, Abraham, Rachel, Abigail, & Elijah.
