He had a bit of a rough week last week with some high fevers after this appointment. He hit 105.6, 105.4, 104.7, and 104.9 over the course of 3 days. Wow! We ended up at the ER since it went back up over 105 after hours. With construction and a detour it took us almost an hour to get there. We had bumper to bumper traffic on 30 that was ridiculous! I even rolled down my window and told a cop I was trying to get to the hospital and he said, "Well, you'll just have to wait a mile until the next exit." Uggghh. Frustrating experience. BUT...Praise the Lord we got there and I now know a bit more about how to get to the ER. Thankfully, strep and flu were negative and they concluded that he had tonsilitus. His throat was icky and red with striated stuff. Poor guy. He didn't eat or drink for almost 24 hours...but thankfully did not get dehydrated. whew!
At 15 months, we commonly refer to him (fondly) as "Destructo!" He is constantly into everything and curious about it all. Here are a few of his things:
* he still loves to make animal sounds
* he points to lots of body parts (my fav is his belly button)
* some of his words: "owside" for outside, "onch juice" for orange juice, "bed" for jumping on our bed, Whoa!, Yes, Wow, "ite" for light, drink, "bubals" for bubbles, "wawer" for water, apple, DaDa, MaMa, Cha Cha for Jasmine, Nana, Mimi, Papa, (we're still working on PaDaddy!) ;)
* He likes pop-tarts, rice krispie treats, and ice cream for junk food!
* He has 12 teeth (including 4 molars) and is trying to cut the pointy teeth now
* He likes to "read" books at bedtime. He looks at Curious George, A Storybook Bible, First Words, and First Colors
* He is still obsessed by balls...basketball, bouncy, football, baseball...
* He is always going for the most random things in the house to carry around...the mop, the plunger, the broom, the umbrella
* He likes the hair brush and will try to brush his, mine, and Jasmine's hair
* He enjoys playing with Jasmine and will try to follow her around
* He enjoys movies with singing parts
* He sometimes hums (his own tune) when I sing to him
* He begs to be outside all the time
* He has a great run where he really gets that arm swinging!
* He is ALL BOY...tough little thing!
* He has a serious mop of hair these days...gotta get a haircut!!
* He has a smile that melts me, eyes that sparkle, and hugs that warm my heart!

Love the list! He is so funny, I cant believe how big he has gotten since I saw him last at Christmas!
What a heart stealer!!! He is such a doll! Getting so big!!!!
He looks so much like a little boy in this picture. It's so fun to see him change and mature.
