Jasmine, Austin, Mommy & Daddy have been spending the evenings in the backyard. It is so fun and refreshing after a busy day to hang out together. We've been playing with sidewalk chalk & bubbles every night. Jason & I are just as into it as Jasmine is! We listen for the train to come by, we watch airplanes & helicopters, we talk about the sky, we play with her slide. A typical conversation:
Jazz: Mommy, you come and play with me?
Me: Sure baby.
Jazz: You bring my bubbles?
Me: Okay.
Jazz: Daddy, here. You have the blue bubbles & Mommy have the yellow ones. Where are Cha-Cha's bubbles? (then she gets her little container & we all blow bubbles!)
Jazz: Oh...wow...those are some "beeeg" bubbles. (big)
Also, the other night, we saw an airplane and it had a really long jetstream that went all the way across the sky. We said to Jasmine, "do you see that big line?" Jasmine replied, "That's a big lion. Raaarr!" :)
Little Austin found his thumb this weekend. I walked in on him awake Saturday morning just happy as could be with that sweet little thumb in his mouth. :)
