Our church hosted the Encourager Conference this week. It is designed to uplift pastors and wives who are serving in areas where they are feeling alone, discouraged, or worn out. We invited several couples to church for the week. The great thing about it is...the messages are for the people as well as the pastors. Vodie spoke Sunday night and brother John spoke Wednesday night. The choir sang each night too. There were a few truths that touched my life:
1. God's Word is Sufficient
2. Love God, Love People
3. Finish the Race Strong
4. I Rest in You, Oh Lord
