Austin Graduated to his room

Yep...that's right! Austin has graduated to his crib. He spent the first 9 weeks of his life sleeping in our room in the wooden bassinet that we had. He is officially sleeping in his own room now! He's doing really well too. He's sleeping from about 10pm until 4 or 5 am. I am thankful for those consecutive hours of sleep these days! The bed is a wonderful blessing. Dear friends of our family received this bed from a hospital during its remodeling. They used to use these "pieces of furniture" in hospital rooms for the new babies. It rolls on wheels and has drawers for keeping all of the items needed. The family who owns this bed has begun a wonderful tradition of loaning it out and passing it around for those who have new little babies. Each person contributes something to the crib before passing it on. We also leave a note and a picture of our little one using it. So fun! We've had it in our home since Jasmine was born, but someone needed it and Austin had about outgrown it...so off it goes to the next little family! A wonderful blessing it was!
