We set out for Baylor Grapevine early Monday morning to be induced. We arrived, got situated, and began the Pitocin by 7:30am. There were ups and downs along the way (including 3 different epidural attempts!), but I finally began pushing around 5:00pm. Austin was a big boy and we ended up using the vacuum as a last-ditch effort before c-section. Sure enough...after 2 pushes with the vacuum...out he came...
He had a full head of black hair and was 2 lbs heavier than his sister! Jason and I spent time with him and then off to get the family. Everyone met him except Jasmine...we wanted her to see him & mommy all cleaned up first with no tubes or IVs! It was another 2.5 hours before Austin was back with us, but he finally arrived in our room and Big Sister got to meet him. We are so blessed to have little Austin in our lives. We are now a growing family of 4...
